Every April at La Filiberta we celebrate the month of the earth and this year we will do it with more energy than ever, because we are not going to be alone!

We have brought together a group of chef friends who share with us a founding concept: to preserve the wetlands of the Paraná Delta.

La Filiberta promotes environmentally sustainable cattle breeding while taking care of one the most important freshwater reservoirs in the country, the Paraná Delta.

Our wetland not only provides fresh water to more than 20 million people, but also fulfills an important function for the surrounding cities:
our Delta is the region that absorbs the excess water from heavy rainfall, which is becoming more intense every year as a result of climate change.

The Paraná Delta is also home to a great biodiversity of flora and fauna that inhabits it.

And finally, it is the region where thousands of islanders live with passion and love for this land and the water that surrounds us.
As a third generation of island producers, it is with great pride that we present this tribute to our earth, with a name that identifies us:”We are wetlands” is an initiative that was created to raise awareness about the relationship between food and environmental well-being.It promotes respect for biodiversity to ensure a sustainable and inclusive future, and seeks to contribute to the sustenance of healthy and nutritious diets.
